Can you summon the loved one I am hoping to connect with?
If you are wishing to connect with someone who is passed it is helpful to think about the person or people in the spirit world before a reading. Thought is energy. Love is energy. The spirit world can sense your energy, and this can help to raise the vibration and make stronger connections possible.

If you are looking to connect with one specific individual in the spirit world, I cannot guarantee that they will "show up" in a reading though they usually do. As a medium, I cannot call "1-800 Dial The Dead" to come and talk. To understand this better think of the process of mediumship like two telephones. The telephone in the spirit world has a dial, and the telephone here in the physical world is only a receiver without any dial. I can only receive the communication that the spirit world is willing to send at that given time based on their own free will. The more open-minded and open-hearted you are the clearer the messages will be for you.
 
I would appreciate that people DO NOT send emails saying with whom it is you wish to communicate, and giving all the pertinent details about that loved one. It's my job to tell you who it is that comes through in the reading, to give you the authenticity and validation that it is, indeed, a loved one of yours. This is the way I work. The less I know about your loved one the better it is for me to remain objective in order for the messages to flow as they should and to be sure that you did not influence me in any way. Please have patience during a reading. I know that you are eager to connect with your loved ones but sometimes other spirits come through as well, such as other family members (whether you knew them well or barely knew them), friends, a co-worker, and our beloved pets, before the person with whom you are looking to communicate.
Each spirit's message is just as important as any other's. Sometimes it is to make peace with someone they had issues with, and they come to ask for forgiveness; and other times it's to let "living people" know that they are okay.

Please allow those other spirits the time to connect with you as well. They may have a message for you, another family member, friend, neighbor or co-worker that can be very healing to the person you relay the message to. It is an effort for the spirit to communicate, and their effort needs to be acknowledged and respected. The only thing I ask is that you participate in the reading by responding if the information is accurate. The best way to have a successful reading is by remaining positive so you can have an evidential and enlightening experience.

Can you do a reading by telephone, and is it accurate?
Yes, I have done thousands of readings by telephone all over the world in the past decade, and they are just as accurate as if you were getting the reading in person. The best way I can explain how telephone  readings work is simple: It's like being on a 3-way phone call between with you, me, and your loved ones. The spirit of your loved one becomes omnipresent, like God (meaning it is everywhere at once),
so spirits can make contact and communicate anywhere, at any time, for there is no time or space to connect with us.

All spirits communicate by telepathy. For me, it's thoughts and feelings, so when I hear them it's in my heart (not my ears), and when I see them it's in my mind's eye (like watching a movie). Also, the time of someone's passing -- whether it's days, months, or years -- have no effect on my ability to communicate with them. However, I do recommend that someone not contact me within the first week of a loved one's passing.

Are our loved ones with us all the time?
I always tell my clients that, as with the physical world, your loved ones are not with you twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, but they are often there when you need them most. People should realize how much energy it takes for those who have passed to lower their vibration and make a connection to this physical realm. I believe they are doing their own learning over there, and we are always growing and progressing. You can help them by learning to increase and raise your awareness, and in so doing it will assist you in meeting them halfway. I will say that our personal guardian angels and guides are always looking after us and guiding us on our journey.

Your loved ones on the other side share in your life here, and often in my readings spirits will acknowledge being around my clients during difficult times, lending their support and strength. Of course they don't visit just during difficult times. Very often they will confirm and give evidence that they were present to see their child get married or the birth of a new baby. Holidays and special occasions are also big for them, as they want to see us happy.

Can they help us from the other side?
Our loved ones do assist us with love, support, insight, and guidance.
They do, in fact, help us in more ways than we even realize.
Some clients expect their loved ones in Heaven to "fix" their life and being that we all have life lessons to learn and experience, no loved one can "fix" anything for you as much as maybe they would like to. Even if they always told you what to do with your life while they were alive, which in hindsight can be spiritually debilitating, they won't in the spirit world, due to free will. We are the only ones responsible for our lives. It's not a loved one's job to tell you what to do or to do it for you. You have to make your own decisions and take responsibility for your choices and actions. They can not interfere with those lessons that assist us in our soul's growth.

How do Spirits appear to you as a Medium, and do you get names?
Every time I link with a spirit they appear to be exactly the same as they did here. People seem to think that when we pass we somehow turn into this exalted being. They have the same personality and quirks, whether it is upbeat, humorous, strict or relaxed. It means a lot to my clients when I blend with their loved ones and start to describe and even act out some of their personalities, or occasionally their personal mannerisms.

I do, in fact, see what many of the spirits look like, but some spirits I just hear and feel. Some of them do give me their names, and others don't. They will mention names of other loved ones that are either living or deceased. To many spirits, their name is just a word that they related to for identity in this world. Picture introducing yourself to someone by your social security number. How confusing would that be? Think of it this way: The Source that we call God has many names, yet responds to them all. It's easier for a spirit to show me "The Statue Of Liberty" to let me know they are from New York City.

Again, it's their personalities and their words that are the most identifiable for validation. It takes so much energy for them to lower their vibration to communicate with us that in my case as a Medium for them, they are more interested in getting their messages of importance to you than they are in trivial matters such as what they bought you when you were a child. The best way to have a meaningful reading is to take into account what is said and valid over something that is not mentioned. Spirits have as much free will as you and I do, and I can't make any spirit tell me something they choose not to communicate about.
